Formula One: Spanish Grand Prix - Mercedes dominate again for a one-two finish

Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas completed the fifth consecutive Mercedes one-two at the start of this season after dominating in Barcelona.

The defending champion started second, only to overtake Bottas on the first corner.
It ended up being an easy win for the Englishman, despite a late safety car halting proceedings.
Ferrari's team tactics didn't work - not for the first time this season - with Red Bull's Max Verstappen taking third.
The Italian team's performance only emphasised Mercedes' ability, with the fight for the championship quickly becoming a two-horse race between the German team's stars.

Hamilton has three wins to his name, while his Finnish team-mate has two, with a point for fastest lap from Spain to add to his tally - he leads Bottas by seven points while the gap to Verstappen in third is a massive 46 points, with Vettel a further two adrift, and Leclerc 10 behind him.
Mercedes' team dominance is not far off two wins' worth of points, and that advantage at a quarter of the way through to season underlines their superiority.
