West Indies vs England - Fourth One Day International, Grenada - Buttler hits 150 as England win by 29

Jos Buttler's 77-ball 150 helped England narrowly beat West Indies in Granada, despite Chris Gayle hitting 162.

West Indies - 389 / 418-6 - England
The tourists held their nerve for a 29-run win, with Adil Rashid taking four wickets in the 48th over to seal it.
Chris Gayle looked to be on top form for the hosts, hitting 14 sixes in a dazzling 162.
He was then dismissed with 16 overs remaining by Ben Stokes, with Brathwaite and Nurse continuing strongly with an 88 partnership.
With 32 runs required off 18 balls, Rashid dismissed Brathwaite and Nurse before taking the final two wickets.
Buttler's earlier score was his his highest in an ODI, hitting 12 sixes and 13 fours, with captain Eoin Morgan making 103.
The wicketkeeper-batsman came to the crease at 165-3 and batted reservedly at first before getting into his stride alondside Morgan.
The pair added 80 runs between overs 41 and 44, with Buttler going from his half-century to 150 in just 31 deliveries.
Their partnership of 204 off 124 balls took England to their third highest ODI total - 154 runs coming in the final 10 overs alone.
Alex Hales opened in place of Jason Roy and showed his ability with a 73-ball 82.
He and Jonny Bairstow scored 89 from the first 10 overs before being dismissed as West Indies slowed the scoring rate in the second powerplay.
England are now 2-1 up in the five match series with one game remaining, in St Lucia.
The third match was abandoned in Granada for rain.

West Indies would have needed their highest ODI total to win, England were therefore heavy favourites between innings.
Mark Wood dismissed John Campbell and Shai Hope in the first six overs, after which Gayle came into his own.
He reached his 50 from 32 balls, starting aggressively after being criticised in the first match for slow batting.
He got the next 50 from only 23 deliveries, with England's bowlers struggling to prevent him from clearing the boundary.

Becoming the first player to hit 500 sixes in international cricket during his innings, Gayle scored 105 runs in a 176-run stand with Darren Bravo, who made 61.
With those two at the crease West Indies were well ahead of the rate, reaching 220-2 from just 23 overs.
Wood dismissed Bravo with a miscued pull shot, and Hetmyer was caught two balls later, all while Gayle carried on the charge before eventually falling to Stokes.
Brathwaite and Nurse took their side toward the brink of victory, continuing as Gayle started.
England bowled 11 wides, and Stokes dropped a difficult chance in the deep.
Rashid's first nine overs cost 83 runs, but skipper Morgan kept faith with his leg-spinner.
He responded by removing the lower order with a mix of leg-spinners and googlies.

League Cup Finals - Arsenal 0-0 Manchester City, Chelsea 0-0 Manchester City

The last weekend in February means only one thing - English League Cup Finals!
Arsenal Women faced off against Manchester City Women at Bramall Lane on Saturday, and Chelsea played Manchester City at Wembley on Sunday.

Arsenal 0-0 (0-0 AET) 2-4p Manchester City
After a goalless 120 minutes, Janine Beckie scored the decisive penalty to win City the Women's League Cup for a third time.
Karen Bardsley had made two saves in the shootout, from Leah Williamson and Danielle van de Donk.
This gave Beckie the score-to-win opportunity, after City's Lauren Hemp had seen her spot-kick palmed away.
Photo from BBC Sport
In the second half of the 90 minutes, Nikita Parris and Beckie hit the crossbar, while at the end of a quiet first half, Steph Houghton was denied by a good Sari van Veenendaal save.
In last year's final the Gunners won 1-0, and though this year the result was reversed, we see the continued domination by these two clubs in the competition's eight year history.
5-time winners Arsenal were not at their best, due to absences from a number of key players due to injury in front of the 2,424 spectators in Sheffield.
Netherlands international Vivianne Miedema was only well enough for the bench, having been suffering from fatigue.
Arsenal missed their top scorer's physical presence and hold up early on, but Joe Montemurro's side threatened more in the second period after her introduction.
It was always going to be tough for Arsenal as their opponents have not lost a domestic game since May, which was in the League to Arsenal.
City repeatedly went close in the second half, and in truth the London club were fortunate to take the tie past 90 minutes.
City's impressive run now stretches to 28 league and cup games without loss, and Nick Cushing's squad can still complete a domestic treble if they progress in the Women's FA Cup and remain top of the Women's Super League.
In the league, Arsenal are two points behind City but the Gunners have two games in hand.

Final
Arsenal 0-0 (0-0 AET) 2-4p Manchester City

Chelsea 0-0 (0-0 AET) 3-4p Manchester City
Another goalless 120 minutes later, it was another Manchester City win.
This is the first time that Manchester City have ever retained a trophy.
In a rather exciting match (for a 0-0) the biggest talking point will be Kepa Arrizabalaga refusing to be substituted after his number had been shown on the fourth official's board.
City's attempted quadruple is a quarter complete, despite the unconvincing nature of the final.
Photo from BBC Sport
Chelsea's club record signing Kepa had suffered from at least two incidents of cramp towards the end of extra time, and with a shootout imminent, Maurizio Sarri decided to use his last substitution to bring on Willy Caballero: a Manchester City hero in the final of 2016 after saving three penalties against Liverpool.
In an almost unprecedented challenge to Sarri's authority, Arrizabalaga refused to come off and Sarri backed down in a rage, storming down the tunnel and turning back before entering the building.
His misery was compiled as his side went on to lose the shootout, with Raheem Sterling firing high into the left side for the winner.
Ilkay Gundogan, Sergio Aguero and Bernardo Silva also scored from the spot for City, Kepa got a hand to the Argentine's kick low to his left but couldn't stop it from hitting the back of the net.
The Spaniard's save of Leroy Sane's kick was immediately cancelled out when David Luiz fired his off the right upright.
Jorginho's penalty run up came under scrutiny as his shot lacked power and placement, making it easy for Ederson to save the first spot kick of the shootout.
His style is to take an exaggerated last step, presumably in an attempt to make the keeper move before the ball's been kicked, but Ederson stood firm and made a good save.
Cesar Azplicueta, Emerson and Eden Hazard converted their kicks, the latter scoring to stay in the shoot out to make it 3-3, chipping over Ederson's head with a classy and confident finish given the context.

Six Nations, Round Three - France 27-10 Scotland, Wales 21-13 England, Italy 16-26 Ireland

After a weekend's break, this is the third game-week in this year's Six Nations. Scotland travelled to France, Wales hosted England and Italy played Ireland.

France 27-10 Scotland
France's first win in this year's tournament extends Scotland's 20 year wait for a win in Paris.
Penaud and Fickou tries were ruled out in the first half, but a stunning counter-attack finished by Ntamack put the hosts ahead.
Scotland could only respond with a penalty, scored by Laidlaw, and barely a minute into the second period Huget had scored for France.
Either side of Price's try, Aldritt crossed twice late on.
But the replacement scrum-half's score was the smallest of consolations for Gregor Townsend's team, who were overpowered at times and hampered by poor decision-making at critical moments.

Wales 21-13 England
England's hopes of a Grand Slam were crushed by an inspired second half revival by Wales.
It was a record-breaking 12th consecutive Test win for Warren Gatland's team.
Photo from BBC Sport
Tom Curry scored his first international try, contributing to England's 10-3 lead at half time.
Wales took the lead, however, with 13 minutes left when Hill crossed after sustained pressure.
Biggar took control from the bench, and Adams sent the Principality Stadium's home crowd into euphoria by claiming the fly-half's cross-field kick, right at the death.
England failed to match or even get close to their form from the first two matches, as we witnessed a masterclass from Warren Gatland and his team.

Italy 16-26 Ireland
Ireland's hard-fought win in Rome keeps their hopes of the defence of their title alive with tries from Roux, Stockdale, Earls and Murray.
Photo from BBC Sport
Padovani and Morisi had given the hosts a half-time lead, but could not score after the break.
Replacement McKinley missed a stoppage-time penalty as Italy could not even salvage the losing bonus point their efforts deserved.Ireland will need a huge slice of luck to retain the crown, they move up to third after this victory, while Italy's run of Six Nations defeats stretches to 20.
Head coach Conor O'Shea will take encouragement from a superb first-half display that left Ireland rattled at the break.

West Indies vs England - Second One Day International, Barbados - England collapse to lose by 26 runs

West Indies produced an inspired fightback, sparked by Jason Holder, to claim a thrilling victory over England and level the one-day series at 1-1.
Photo from BBC Sport
West Indies - 289-6 / 263 - England
Needing 290 for a 2-0 series lead, England lost their last six wickets for just 36 runs, subsiding to 263 all out.
Jos Buttler and Tom Curran were dismissed in consecutive balls by Holder, while Sheldon Cottrell took 5-46, a career-best.
Earlier, Shimron Hetmyer was 104 not out, contributing to West Indies' 289-6.
Eoin Morgan and Ben Stokes left England in a comfortable position after a 99-run stand for the fourth wicket, needing just over a run a ball.
Captain Holder brought himself back into the attack in the 35th over with England 100 away from victory, this decision changed the game.
Stokes fell first, edging a full Holder delivery to wicketkeeper Hope for 79.
In the next Holder over, Buttler skied an off-cutter to Hetmyer, before a Curran lbw which, on replay, was comfortably wide of leg stump.
Stokes had used England's only review on his dismissal and, with the run-rate climbing, the tourists never recovered.
Cottrell had Adil Rashid caught behind and two balls later bowled Moeen Ali, before Liam Plunkett drove Carlos Brathwaite to long-off.
Holder took the catch to seal his team's first one-day win over England in five years.
Photo from BBC Sport
Shimron Hetmyer's 83-ball century was his fourth in ODIs in the past year, it helped West Indies recover from a quiet middle-over period, striking seven fours and four sixes.
Nurse and Hetmyer shared an unbroken 52-run stand in 5.3 overs, with the latter drilling down the ground to reach three figures off the penultimate delivery of the innings.
Opener Chris Gayle made a 50 which included four sixes before he was bowled aiming to hit leg-spinner Rashid across the line.
Rashid ran out Darren Bravo for 25 with a direct hit from short third man.
Jason Roy also produced a brilliant throw, running to his right from backward point and aiming at one stump, to dismiss Holder.

It was Dublin delight for the world champion as he continues his perfect start to his Premier League defence.

Michael van Gerwen beat Rob Cross 7-2, but had two darts for a 7-0 whitewash before the 2018 world champion made a minor resurgence.
Peter Snakebite Wright won his first match this season, defeating this week's COntender and home favourite Steve Lennon.
There was a victory for Daryl Gurney, in the city where he won his first PDC major title, he beat last year's finallist Michael Smith, who is yet to win in this campaign.
Superchin won the final four legs from 5-3 down to win.

Mensur Suljovic and Raymond van Barneveld are also without victory, and in their match the Dutchman came back from 3 legs down at 4-1, winning 4 on the bounce. He clinched the final leg to see the points shared. The draw between Price and Wade followed a similar theme, while Lennon pushed Wright hard, but could not pull off an upset.

Points won by the Contenders will not count towards the league table, but their opponents will retain theirs if they earn any from the match.
The player who finishes ninth in the table after Judgement Night in Rotterdam on 28 March will be eliminated.
The remaining eight throwers will then battle it out for a place in the top four to make it to the play-offs at The O2 Arena, London on 23 May.
