England survived a batting collapse to wrap up the series winning the fourth one-day international against Pakistan at Trent Bridge.
Jason Roy opened the batting with a 75-ball century - his eighth in ODIs - with the home side coasting in the early stages of their chase of 341.
With Jonny Bairstow rested, Roy added 94 with new opening partner James Vince and then 107 with Joe Root.
Roy was reprieved on 25 after a misjudgement of a catch by Fakhar Zaman, one of a number of mistakes in the field by Pakistan.
His dismissal then sparked a collapse of four wickets for just 15 runs.
There was a long overdue return to form for Ben Stokes, who struggled in the IPL and is yet to take a wicket in this series.
Stokes first shared 42 with Joe Denly and then, crucially, 61 with Curran - amounting to 71 not out.
Curran had earlier claimed 4-75 with the ball.
The conditions in Nottingham were perfect for batting - the ground where England have racked up the two highest ODI totals of all time.
Pakistan batted first and set 340, with Babar Azam hitting a controlled 115.
But England appeared to be coasting to their target, even without suspended captain Eoin Morgan and rested opener Bairstow.
England were ultimately tested, making it good practice for their World Cup preparations.
Chris Woakes, David Willey and Liam Plunkett were also rested - demonstrating the depth of the squad.
