Wimbledon Preview: Ten Brits in singles draw, Murray brothers could meet in doubles third round

It may be one of the greatest rivalries in the history of sport, it certainly created one of the best Wimbledon finals in 2008, but now there is a new chapter in the Federer Nadal saga.

Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer are in the same half of the men's singles draw at Wimbledon this year.
It has occurred because 33-year-old Nadal has been seeded third behind Swiss Federer, despite being world number two.
The record Grand Slam title winner is ranked third in the world, and the Spaniard said it "doesn't seem fair" to be seeded behind the 37-year-old.
Before the draw was made, the seedings meant Nadal was projected to face either top seed and defending champion Novak Djokovic or Federer in the semi-final.
Wimbledon seeding is different from the other Grand Slams in that it does not always follow world rankings and is affected by a special formula which takes into account a player's grass-court performances.
The 18-time major champion was pulled in the same half of the draw as Federer - who is seeking a record-extending ninth title at the All England Club.

Two-time Wimbledon champion Nadal - one of which was in that iconic 2008 final - faces Japanese qualifier Yuichi Sugita in the first round and could meet Nick Kyrgios in the second.
Australian Kyrgios meets compatriot Jordan Thompson for the right to face the Spaniard.
Nadal's route to the final could also include Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, a two-time semi-finalist, with 2017 finalist Marin Cilic projected to be his last-16 opponent.
Federer begins against 22-year-old South African Lloyd Harris, who is making his Wimbledon debut.

Serbian Djokovic will play the first match of the tournament on Centre Court on Monday at 1pm, against Germany's Philipp Kohlschreiber.
Defending women's singles champion Angelique Kerber starts against compatriot Tatjana Maria.
Last year's women's champion Angelique Kerber, seeded fifth, starts against fellow German Tatjana Maria on Tuesday.
Kerber's last-16 opponent could be 23-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams, who begins her campaign against Italian qualifier Giulia Gatto-Monticone.

French Open winner and new world number one Ashleigh Barty will play world number 43 Zheng Saisai of China, and could face 2017 Wimbledon champion Garbine Muguruza in the third round.
Five-time champion Venus Williams will face a fellow American opponent 24 years her junior in the first round, 15-year-old Cori Gauff is the youngest player to qualify for the main Wimbledon draw since the Open era began in 1968.

British number one Kyle Edmund plays Jaume Munar of Spain in the first round.
The 30th seed lost in the Eastbourne semi-finals last week, and will play the 88th ranked player in the world at SW19.
Munar has never played in the main draw at Wimbledon, and if Edmund, 24, can beat him he could face another Spaniard in Fernando Verdasco in the second round.
Greek Stefano Tsitsipas could be Edmund's third round opponent, the seventh seed starts against Italian Thomas Fabbiano.

Johanna Konta, Britain's leading female player, will play Romanian qualifier Ana Bogdan on Tuesday.
The 28-year-old reached the semi-finals on her favoured surface, but has suffered early exits in Birmingham and Eastbourne in the build up to the third major of the year.
19th seed Konta could face Sloane Stephens in the third round - the American seventh seed lost to the Brit in the French Open quarter-finals earlier this month.
Two-time champion Petra Kvitova could await Konta in the round of 16, though she is a doubt through injury.

Heather Watson faces 17-year-old American qualifier Caty McNally, while Harriet Dart meets American Christina McHale and Katie Swan plays Laura Siegemund of Germany.
British number two Cameron Norrie plays Uzbekistan's Denis Istomin, who has a Grand Slam victory over Novak Djokovic to his name, while 20-year-old Jay Clarke could face Federer in round two if he beats American qualifier Noah Rubin.
British number three Dan Evans will open against Argentina's Federico Delbonis, while wildcard James Ward plays Georgian 18th seed Nikoloz Basilashvili.

Evans and Ward could meet in round two, and face another Brit in round three in teenage wildcard Paul Jubb, who won the prestigious NCAA college title in the United States recently.
First, Jubb would have to get past Portuguese world number 66 Joao Sousa, and then potentially former finalist Cilic in the second round.

Two-time singles champion Andy Murray is playing alongside France's doubles expert Pierre-Hugues Herbert and they have been drawn to face Romania's Marius Copil and France's Ugo Humbert in the first round.
The 32-year-old former world number one pulled out of last year's tournament with an ongoing hip injury, leaving him fearing for his career at the Australian Open in January.
His competitive return could not have been better, winning the men's doubles title at Queen's alongside Spain's Feliciano Lopez.
His 33-year-old brother, who has twice won the mixed doubles at Wimbledon, is partnering fellow Briton Neal Skupski.
The 10th seeds meets Ivan Dodig of Croatia and Slovakian partner Filip Polasek in their opening match.

The brothers are projected to meet in the third round, if both pairs win in rounds one and two.
