Cricket World Cup Semi-Final: India vs New Zealand, Old Trafford - New Zealand dismantle India to make World Cup Final

New Zealand won by 18 runs to book their place in the World Cup Final, thanks to a brilliant bowling performance.

India - 221 / 239-8 - New Zealand
India were chasing 240 on the reserve day to win, but were 5-3, 24-4 and 92-6 before Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni made 116 together to bring them back into contention at Old Trafford.
Jadeja finished with 77 when he hit Trent Boult into the air going for a fifth six of his innings, only to be caught by captain Kane Williamson and mid-on.
A 39-ball 50 threatened to put India in the final, celebrated with a Zorro-like bat swing.
He had earlier ran out Ross Taylor and caught Tom Latham to stall New Zealand's resumed innings.
Martin Guptill superbly ran out Dhoni on the second ball of the 48th over, after the wicketkeeper had hit a six off the first.
Yuzvendra Chahal edged behind as India were all out for 221.

On Tuesday, New Zealand reached 211-5 from 46.1 overs before rain stopped play for the rest of the day around 2pm.
Guptill, who would go on to take a decisive wicket, has struggled with the bat in this tournament including his near golden duck dismissal to Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
India chose to review and lost it when it was confirmed as not lbw.
It took 17 balls for New Zealand to get off the mark, not hitting a boundary until the eighth over.
Guptill was dismissed shortly after the wasted review for one, caught by Virat Kohli in the slips.
Henry Nicholls and Williamson were resolute but a but too cautious at times and they crawled through the innings.
Their partnership of 68 was put to an end when Jadeja bowled out Nicholls, then followed 14 overs without a boundary with Ross Taylor at the crease.
These two at the crease gave the Black Caps hope from a bleak position, before Williamson was caught at backward point when trying to finally accelerate.
The first six of the match brought up Taylor's half-century before rain curtailed the innings by 3.5 overs.

They added 28 runs off 23 balls this morning to finish 239-8, a total that India would have been confident they could surpass.
The bowlers struck early, with a near perfect fielding performance as well.
Rohit Sharma - the leading run-scorer in the tournament edged Matt Henry behind, before Kohli was trapped lbw by Trent Boult.
The Indian captain instantly reviewed and stood, shocked, on the field of play before walking off after losing another review early in the innings.
Henry dismissed KL Rahul when Tom Latham took another catch as India fell to 5-3.
A superb one-handed catch from Jimmy Neesham at backward-point dismissed Dinesh Karthik, before Williamson took the accelerating Jadeja.
Guptill soon ran out Dhoni - one of the quickest between the wickets and a brilliant finisher in chasing innings in ODIs.
