Six Nations, Round Five - Wales 25-7 Ireland, England 38-38 Scotland, Italy 14-25 France

Wales celebrated their third Grand Slam in 11 years with their win over Ireland, while England and Scotland drew, and France beat Italy.

Wales 25-7 Ireland
Hadleigh Parkes scored early on, with Gareth Anscombe converting and adding three penalties before half-time for a 16-0 lead.
There were three more from the fly-half in the second period, with Ireland far from their best, Jordan Larmour scored a late try but it was no consolation for a poor performance from the defending champions.

It means Warren Gatland becomes the first coach in Five or Six Nations history to win three Slams, his team's record-breaking winning run now stretching to 14 games.

England 38-38 Scotland
England had earlier had their title hopes dashed by Wales, but raced into a 31-point lead against Scotland in as many minutes.

But a second half blitz, Scotland made it all square with McInally, Graham, Bradbury and Russell all crossing.
Sam Johnson scored late on, only for George Ford to cross for the game's 11th try for the match to end all square.

Italy 14-25 France
Italy's wait for Six Nations win continues, despite the chances to end the 21-game hoodoo
Antoine Dupont and Yoann Huget scored to give France control and Tito Tebaldi scored in the 54th minute.

The crucial moment was when a converted try would have put Italy in front late on, but tragically Marco Zanon lost the ball when over the tryline after a brilliant tackle from Damian Penaud.
It was Penaud who crossed in the 78th minute to seal the win.
France offered little going forward for the majority of the game but the win does at least see them end the campaign with a second win.
