In the most dramatic summer of English cricket, the Twenty20 final lived up to expectation as Essex Eagles won their first Blast off the last ball of the match.

Worcestershire Rapids - 145-9 / 148-6 - Essex Eagles
Essex won their first T20 Blast title as the final went down to the last ball against Worcestershire.
After starring with the ball, captain Simon Harmer was required to see the win home with Ravi Bopara, and he did just that.
The Eagles were 82-5 chasing 145-9, with Bopara smashing an unbeaten 36 and joined by Harmer who made 18 off just seven balls to finish on 148-6.
Needing two off the last ball - though one would have won it by virtue of having lost fewer wickets - much like in their semi-final against Nottinghamshire earlier in the day, but Wayne Parnell could not reproduce the no-ball from earlier, as Harmer cut him away to the point boundary to end Worcestershire's hope of becoming the first team to defend a Blast title.
The 30-year-old South African offspinner took 3-16 off his four overs, coupled with his 4-19 from the semi-final made the best figures ever on Finals Day.
It means that one team will finish the season with two of the three domestic trophies, with Essex and One-Day Cup champions Somerset facing off for the County Championship title, with that final match of the season between the top two sides beginning on Monday.
Having won the toss and put the Rapids in to bat, Dan Lawrence bowled Hamish Rutherford with just the third ball of the innings.
It took the first-time finalists another eight overs - and 56 runs - to make another breakthrough, when Harmer had a hat-trick ball for the second time in the day.
Rapids captain Moeen Ali was dismissed by a low return catch on 32 off Harmer, before Ben Cox - last year's man of the match in the final - was lbw trying to sweep his next delivery with Wayne Parnell surviving a big shout for leg-before on the hat-trick ball.
Riki Wessels made 31 off 34 balls into the 16th over, supported by 19 apiece by Parnell and Daryl Mitchell and some late hitting from Brett D'Oliveira, but it didn't seem enough.
Cameron Delport then holed out to long off from Parnell's second ball, before Adam Wheater reverse swept Mitchell onto his stumps.
Parnell returned to remove Tom Westley for 36 with Ali removing Ryan ten Doeschate and Dan Lawrence.
Quarter-final match-winner Bopara put Ali into the crowd off his last ball, before which he had been quite economical.
After Pat Brown ended Bopara's 47-runs stand with Simon Walter, Harmer hit the penultimate ball for four, one that Parnell looked distraught with, before hitting the winning runs.

Notts Outlaws - 146-5 / 147-9 - Worcestershire Rapids
Defending champions Worcestershire had earlier held their nerve to book their place in the final.
In the battle of the last two Blast champions, Parnell produced a dot ball from the last ball of the innings when Nottinghamshire needed two to win.
Ross Whiteley had earlier made 36 and Riki Wessels 34 as the Rapids posted 147-9.
Alex Hales made 52 as the Outlaws looked in control on 100-1 before a spectacular collapse.
Brown and Parnell bowled a tight final two overs with 11 needed of 12 balls, with Ben Duckett missing the final delivery off Parnell as Worcestershire won by one runs.
An opening stand of 51 from Hales and Chris Nash saw Nottinghamshire off to a good start, with Duckett taking the baton from there.
Ali conceded just 13 runs off his four overs, and had Hales caught behind to cap off a great bowling spell.
Captain Dan Christian added 37 with Duckett, before the latter run out Steven Mullaney and Brown dismissed Christian and Tom Moores.
Needing seven to win off the last over, Parnell took the ball after conceding 37 off his first three overs, but bowled dot balls on the first and last deliveries.
Earlier Hamish Rutherford had been dismissed early, but Worcestershire were 40-1 after four overs with Ali hitting three quick sixes.
He was then bowled around his legs sweeping Matt Carter, before Mullaney removed Parnell ending a 36-run stand with Wessels to begin a slide of 5-21 off 31 balls.
Daryl Mitchell's arrival supported Whiteley who hit a few sixes, while Mitchell himself hit a late maximum over long on.
If Hales and Nash were to play like they did in the quarter-final - smashing victory with 165-0 in the 17th over - 148 never looked like a big enough total.
The stand wasn't enough this time, and the openers' team-mates couldn't keep it up as Worcestershire pulled off a remarkable victory.

Essex Eagles - 160-5 / 126 - Derbyshire Falcons
Essex beat Derbyshire by 34 runs in the second semi-final, after losing in the first semi-final in their four previous Finals Day appearances.
The Eagles proved to be too good for the Falcons, who themselves were making their first appearance at Finals Day.
Essex made 160-5 before bowling Derbyshire out for 126, with Cameron Delport getting the first innings off to a flyer with 55 off 31 balls as Essex made 78-0 off eight overs.
Alex Hughes had Delport caught by Luis Reece at long off, with both Hughes and Reece finishing with 2-24 off their four overs.
Tom Westley survived until the 14th over before being dismissed for 39, while Ravi Bopara made 27 off 23 balls.
It wasn't as big a total as would have been hoped, and Reece began the chase hitting 14 off Jamie Porter's first three balls.
But he took one risk too many and was caught behind by a diving Adam Wheater for 19 off just nine balls.
Simon Harmer made captain Billy Godleman the first of his four victims, before Aron Nijjar got rid of Wayne Madsen for 17 in only his second T20 match.
Harmer dismissed Leus du Plooy and Anil Dal in successive balls, and at 66-5 there was no way back for Derbyshire.
At one stage, it looked likely that it would break the record for the biggest defeat on finals day - Surrey being bowled out for 92 and losing by 102 runs to Northamptonshire in the 2013 final - before Hughes made 23, Daryn Smit 19 and Logan van Beek an unbeaten 16 to get to a respectable score.
