Solheim Cup Golf, Day Two - All square going into singles matches on final day

Europe and the United States go into the final day of the Solheim Cup tied 8-8 after strong winds made for tricky playing conditions at Gleneagles.

Three afternoon fourball matches went to the final hole with Europe's only victory coming from Georgia Hall and Celine Boutier, with Caroline Masson missing a six-foot putt to win her match.
It took three hours to play the nine holes on all the fourball matches, largely down to winds of up to 35mph with balls falling off tees and oscillating on greens.
In the final match Europe's Carlota Ciganda and USA's Lizette Salas received formal warnings on the 13th hole - Salas had already been warned twice yesterday.
Her playing partner won their match, Danielle Kang sunk a birdie putt at the 17th after five hours and 35 minutes.
With 12 points available in Sunday's singles matches, USA need to reach 14 by virtue of being defending champions, while Europe need 14½ to regain the crown.

The morning foursomes were drawn 2-2, meaning Europe retained the on-point adavntage from day one.
Charley Hull and Azahara Munoz continued their strong partnership, beating Kang and Megan Khang 4&3 to make it 2½ points out of a possible three, while Hall and Boutier added another point with a 3&2 victory.
But Bronte Law and Carlota Ciganda suffered a 6&5 defeat to the Korda twins.
Jessica and Nelly were level par through thirteen, but the European pair struggled in the win with six bogeys.
Anne van Dam and Anna Nordqvist surrendered a four up lead through six to lose 2&1 to Morgan Pressel and Marina Alex.

USA captain Juli Inkster made it clear that none of her players would play in all five possible mathes across the weekend, and she proved she was true to her word today.
The Kordas were rested for the fourballs despite both picking up half points with other partners on Friday as well as the win together.
Inkster's plan looked like a master stroke when her side were leading all four matches midway through the afternoon.
Altomare and Park needed the last hole to win against Pettersen and van Dam, while Salas and Kang were the only other American winners.
Hall and Boutier registered their third point of the tournament, winning the final five holes in their match with Ally McDonald and Angel Yin.
The Americans had raced four clear through seven and were still three ahead through 13 after their 7&5 win on Friday.
Boutier then won the 14th with an eagle while Hall won the 15th with a par, and a Boutier birdie levelled the match at the 16th.
Hall moved Europe ahead for the first time with a par at 17, before her French partner birdied the last to seal the win.
Jodie Ewart Shadiff and Masson played a nip-and-tuck encounter with Lexi Thompson and Marina Alex.
With never more than one hole between the teams, Europe was briefly ahead before USA had a one hole lead through nine.
Masson birdied at 10 and 13 to take the lead, before Alex rolled in a birdie putt to win the 16th and the 17th was halved.
At the last, Masson had a chance for a six-foot birdie putt after the Americans had missed longer putts to win the hole, but the German pushed her putt fractionally left.
