Barcelona 3-0 (4-0 agg) Manchester United
Lionel Messi inspired his Barcelona side to a dominant victory over Machester United at the Nou Camp.
Trailing 1-0 from the first leg, the task for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men was not impossible.
They started brightly, Marcus Rashford hitting the post in the first minute, but after that the hosts controlled the tie.
Messi put Barca ahead with a fine left-footed effort from 20 yards in the 16th minute and four minutes later the Argentine's right-footed effort from similar range somehow managed to squirm through De Gea's grasp.
Ex-Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho produced one of his trademark goals, cutting on from the left and shooting powerfully into the top corner for 3-0.
Alexis Sanchez's diving header, which was spectacularly saved by Barca goalkeeper Marc Andre ter Stegen in the 90th minute, was as close as the visitors came in the second half.

Juventus 1-2 (2-3 agg) Ajax
Ajax dispatched European giants Juventus on their way to the Champions League semi-finals.
Cristiano Ronaldo headed the hosts in front in the first half, the five time winner was looking for a fourth consecutive title this season.
Donny van de Beek then equalised, before captain Matthijs de Ligt scored the winner with a powerful header.
Juventus then needed two goals in the last 23 minutes, but it was the Dutch side who looked more like extending their lead, with David Neres and Hakim Ziyech both squandering chances to increase the margin of victory.
Ronaldo picked up a late yellow card for a frustrated lunge at Joel Veltmans, and stalked off the pitch at the final whistle, after suffering his first  knock-out stage defeat since May 2015 - when his current club beat his former club Real Madrid before going on to be runners-up to Barcelona at the Berlin final.

Manchester City 4-3 (4-4 agg) Tottenham Hotspur (away goals)
Tottenham qualified for the last four of the Champions League for the first time on away goals, losing on the night to Manchester City.
Spurs took a narrow 1-0 lead to the Etihad that was almost immediately cancelled out in the frantic opening minutes of the match...

How the first half unfolded
3:51 - Sterling makes it 1-1 on aggregate
6:52 - Son Heung-min's shot squirms past Ederson
9:02 - Son curls into the far corner to put Spurs 3-1 up on aggregate
10:43 - Bernardo Silva's deflected effort finds the net for City
20:32 - Sterling meets Kevin de Bruyne's cross to make it 3-3 overall

Sterling got the stadium rocking with his superb curled finish on four minutes, but a Son double swung the momentum towards Spurs after only 10 minutes.
Silva scored via a deflection for 2-2 on the night, before Sterling scored a tap in to complete a 21-minute frenzy.

City therefore needed to out score Spurs in the second half, with the away goals giving the latter the advantage.
Aguero looked to have done it with a powerful finish, completing de Bruyne's hat trick of assists.
Substitue Fernando Llorente's hips didn't lie as he threw his body at the ball and converted for the decisive goal.
After a VAR check for handball, the goal was confirmed 17 minutes from time and ended Pep Guardiola's hopes of a historic quadruple for the Citizens.

However it briefly looked like City had won it in injury time with Raheem Sterling converting for his hat trick, to send the Etihad into euphoria, only for it to be ruled out for offside by Sergio Aguero.

This will go down in the history of the Champions League as one of the all time great ties, maybe even in all of football.
In terms of quality it wasn't top level throughout, but at times it took individual pieces of brilliance for the goals to go in.
The unpredictable nature of the match added to the drama as well, because you always felt that one goal may not be decisive, even towards the end of the match - both sides always looked like threatening.

Once again we saw VAR in the spotlight for impacting the match - this time with seriously dramatic consequences.
For me, I don't care whether there is a 'clear and obvious error' as long as the correct decision is made.
We've seen it where a late goal is given which changes the result, and that referee receives a tirade of abuse and that incident is never forgotten.
But since the introduction of VAR, that appears to have disappeared, and instead fans are left praising the officials for being able to make that decision in such a high pressure situation.

Let me know your thoughts on VAR after its latest high-profile use in the comments below.

Porto 1-4 (1-6 agg) Liverpool
Goals from Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Virgil van Dijk gave Liverpool a comfortable 1-6 aggregate win over Porto.
The hosts at the Estadio do Dragao started the brighter but couldn't convert, before Mane scored a VAR confirmed goal after he initially appeared to be offside from Salah's original shot.
Salah himself scored after the break to complete a counter-attack before Eder Militao pulled one back for the Portuguese side.
Headers from Firmino and van Dijk assured the Liverpool win.
Liverpool's slow start allowed Porto to get the better of the early chances, but could not capitalise and level the game early on.
Moussa Marega notably missed five chances in the opening 20 minutes, any of which could have changed the dynamic of the tie.
