World Athletics Championships, Day 10 - Britain's worst medal haul at a World Championship in 14 years

Drama in both the men's and women's 4x400m relays saw Great Britain end a World Athletics Championships with their lowest medal haul since 2005.

Britain failed to pick up any further medals on the final day of the championships in Doha, with both 4x400m relay teams missing out.
It looked for a time as though the total from Helsinki 2005 would be bettered when the women's team were upgraded to bronze after Jamaica's disqualification - only for that decision to be overturned on appeal.
The equivalent men's team failed to finish their race after a botched changeover.
The USA won both the men's and women's races, taking their gold medal haul to 14 - more than second placed Kenya had medals of any colour - to see them top the table.
Britain ended sixth in the medal table, with golds coming from Dina Asher-Smith in the 200m and Katarina Johnson-Thompson in the heptathlon, with Asher-Smith also taking silver in the 100m in addition to the two 4x100m silvers.

GB's run of winning medals in the 4x400m relays came to an end today, with the women missing out on the podium for the first time in eight World Championships.
Laviai Nielsen began her final leg in fourth, and was unable to close in on Poland, Jamaica and runaway winners USA.
Toby Harries slipped over for the men as he tried to hand the baton to Rabah Yousif on the third leg to end the team's race.

Malaika Mihambo added the world title to her European long jump success, with the German jumping 7.30m in the third round - the 12th longest distance of all time.
European silver medallist Maryna Bekh-Romanchuk was second to Mihambo again, jumping 6.92m, while Nigeria's Ese Brume - fifth at Rio 2016 - leapt 6.91m to claim bronze.
After retirement three years ago, Britain's Agibail Irozuru could only make seventh in her second season in her comeback, jumping 6.64m, with compatriot Shara Proctor 11th.

One of the best performers of the championships was by Timothy Cheruiyot who took 1500m gold for Kenya.
He has won 11 of his last 12 Diamond League races, and held on to the lead he took in the opening lap to win in 3:29.26.
Taoufik Makhloufi of Algeria took silver, while Poland's Marcin Lewandowski set a national record of 3:31.46 to claim bronze.
Norway's European champion Jakob Ingebrigtsen just missed on on a medal in fourth, while the British pairing of Jake Wightman and Josh Kerr finished fifth and sixth - both running personal bests of 3:31.87 and 3:32.52 respectively.
Wightman's placing was the highest a Briton has finished in this event since Steve Cram and Steve Ovett in 1983, while Neil Gourley was 11th.

100m hurdles gold went to Rio 2016 silver medallist Nia Ali, with the American running a personal best of 12.34 seconds.
Her compatriot and world record holder Kendra Harrison clinched silver with Jamaica's Danielle Williams in third.
Anderson Peters took javelin gold for Grenada, the 21-year-old threw 86.89m while pre-event favourite Magnus Kirt took silver.
The Estonian, who has twice broken 90m this year, retired hurt after five throws.
Johannes Vetter went one better than his performance at Rio 2016, taking bronze place for Germany.
After the track retirement of Mo Farah, Uganda's Joshua Cheptegei was able to take the gold medal that the Brit denied him at London 2017, winning 10,000m gold in 26:48.36.
Ethiopia's Yomif Kejelcha just missed out on the win in a sprint finish, while Rhonex Kipruto of Kenya took bronze.
